CN Wizards not working any more!

Hi;

All versions of CN Wizards after CnWizards_0.8.1.232_Preview no longer install in Delphi 7 Personal Edition. (including all unstable versions)

I get two error dialogs:

1. unable to locate link library visualclx70.bpl (this is not in PE version)

2. could not find wizard, e:\borland\cnwizards\cnwizards_d7.dll (it is there, I checked.)

Help!

It's because of our 'Component Search' function using CLX support. So we add this bpl to compile. Sorry for inconvienence.

We'll find another way to implement it and remove this bpl reference.

Hi

Thank you. I really like CNWizards.

It seems we've fixed this problem.
Could you download our latest version 245 to verify it?

Hi

Yes, this does install and runs ok, so far as I can tell. No errors. But I do get the following in a message box. Don't know if I should be concerned with it or not?

----------
We've Detected that the IDE Maybe does NOT Install the Latest Update Pack. Perhaps Your IDE is NOT stable, and Some Functions of CnWizards will NOT be Supported. We Recommend You Download and Install the Latest Update Pack.
---------

Thanks for fixing it so fast. (I use the Personal Edition (can't afford the Pro version) for my own use at home.)

The messagebox is a new feature in 245, that detect the update pack version of your IDE. If it's not the latest, this message will show.

It has no relation to CLX support. So we can tell the CLX problem in PE is fixed now.

And, did you install the latest update pack of your IDE(For delphi7 it's update 2)? if installed and this box appears, it must be a bug of CnWizards.

Also, you can check 'don't show' checkbox to disable the message and continue.

Hi

Unfortunately the PE version of Delphi 7 is not updatable.

I have the checkbox checked, so it doesn't show up.

Again, thank you very much for the fix.
